Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multi-disciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

The Role

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves coordinating with various departments, leading a team of production staff, and implementing strategies to improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Production Management:
    • Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are met.
    • Develop and implement production schedules and strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
    • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement and oversee quality control procedures and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce safety policies and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Inventory and Resource Management:
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials while minimizing excess.
    • Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance, productivity, and other key metrics.
    • Document and track changes to production processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
    • Proven experience with production planning, quality control, and team management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficient in manufacturing software and systems (e.g., ERP systems).
    • Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $110,000 - $130,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
