Trunk Tools takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. Your starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. For this role, the estimated base salary is $110,000 - $140,000 with a comprehensive benefits package and equity component.

The Role

Hybrid 3-days in our Soho office in NYC.

We’re hiring a Business Recruiter to own and scale hiring across our go-to-market and operations teams. This isn’t a sit-back-and-source role. You’ll partner closely with founders and hiring managers, build pipelines from scratch, close top candidates, and be relentless about bringing in the right people.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end recruiting for Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and G&A roles

• Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of business candidates through sourcing, referrals, outreach, and creative tactics

• Run fast and efficient recruiting processes, from screens to closing

• Partner with hiring managers to write job descriptions, calibrate profiles, and align on what great looks like

• Drive a smooth and human candidate experience at every step

• Track metrics, move fast, and iterate constantly

• Represent Trunk Tools at events, in outreach, and in how we show up as a company

• Build our recruiting muscle while staying scrappy—we’re early, and everyone here wears multiple hats

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup

• Experience hiring across go-to-market and business teams

• Proven success sourcing, closing, and managing multiple searches at once

• Strong judgment and intuition around talent and team dynamics

• Clear, thoughtful communication and process instincts

• Comfortable in a hybrid or in-office startup culture (we’re NYC-based)

Nice to Have

• Experience as a founding recruiter or early recruiting hire

• Exposure to hiring for technical roles

• You’ve built something from scratch—pipeline, process, or even a company
