About the Role:
The Customer Success Manager will play a key role in the growth and success of the sales team by supporting the VP of Sales and Sales Managers through customer research and analysis, sales forecasting and reporting, CRM management, and Ad Hoc tasks as assigned. This role will be integral to SOLARCYCLE’s acquisition of new customers, maintenance and growth of existing customers, and company expansion over the coming years. The successful application will be self-motivated, able to work independently and as a part of a team, open to learning new skills, and excited about the idea of joining and helping to grow a fast moving and ambitious clean technology start up.
Job Description:
The Customer Success Manager will create and perform complex recycling and financial models, and generate quotations and comprehensive proposals based on technical requirements, project economics, and financial information acquired through a variety of channels. S/he will utilize HubSpot, our CRM, to provide the team with a consistent and accurate view of company sales activity and come to SOLARCYCLE with passion and experience in financial and business modeling. The Customer Success Manager will work closely with Sales, Operations, and other departments within our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sales proposal process and generate quotes
- Provide creative input to bid strategy
- Track sales activities using HubSpot CRM
- Manage HubSpot system reporting, improvements and modifications
- Generate sales reports & presentations, and present to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Work closely with the Sales team on creative deal structuring and bid strategy
- Work closely with Marketing & Product Management Team to provide input on new products
- Continually streamline, standardize and improve proposal templates, client presentations, and company systems
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skill and proven ability to work with multiple cross functional teams
- Financial modeling experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
- BE/BS in a business or technical field (MBA is a bonus, but not required)
- 1-2+ years of pre-sales, sales analysis, financial analysis, business development, and/or program management experience
- Solar experience with project developer, project owner, EPC, IPP etc. is preferred
