Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality,

reliability, and performance of our software products. This role requires a strong understanding of software

development lifecycles, test methodologies, and a passion for identifying and resolving complex technical issues

through automation.

The Test Engineer will collaborate closely with development, product, and QA to integrate automated testing into the

CI/CD pipeline. They will play a crucial role in enhancing test coverage, reducing manual testing efforts, and

accelerating release cycles, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Primary Duties Including % of time:

  • 50% - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
  • 20% - Plan and design test cases collaborating with business users/SMEs
  • 20% - Analyze test results, collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely
  • resolution of issues
  • 10% - Implementing improvements to the testing process

Travel Required: Less than 5%

Organizational relationships:

  • Reports To: Software Engineering Manager
  • Direct Reports: None
  • Interacts With: Test Engineers, QA Analysts, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of automation testing experience with TypeScript, Java, Python or similar automation testing language.
  • Advanced knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer).
  • Experience in creation and usage of SQL queries.
  • Familiar with test case management tools (e.g. AIO Test, qTest, TestRail)
  • Familiar with application performance monitoring tools (e.g. DataDog, DynaTrace, Splunk).
  • Familiar with software release cycle through continuous integration and deployment.
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid computer science fundamentals are required.
  • Passionate about quality, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs and priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for our sustainability driven mission.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
