Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Strategy & Planning Operations Analyst to join our Revenue Strategy & Planning team. In this high-exposure role, you'll be instrumental in shaping GTM decisions and driving operational efficiency across all revenue-generating teams. You will leverage data and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the planning, deployment, and growth of our revenue functions. This role offers a significant opportunity for growth and hands-on experience at the intersection of GTM operations, analytics, and executive decision-making.

What You’ll Do

Your core responsibilities will focus on the operational execution and strategic analysis that underpins our revenue organization:

Revenue Planning & Optimization

  • Narrative Development & Communication: Communicate data-driven findings, insights, and strategic narratives clearly in meetings, memos, and presentations to stakeholders, including GTM leaders and senior management.
  • Territory Design & Management: Execute and support the annual planning processes, including the design, build, and administration of territories, including developing and managing Territory health metrics.

  • Planning Support: Contribute to the annual and quarterly revenue planning cycles, providing data and analysis for decisions on headcount, resource allocation, and organizational design.

  • Rules of Engagement (ROE): Assist in defining, documenting, and enforcing commercial Rules of Engagement and policies to minimize conflict, drive clarity for sales teams, and ensure operational rigor in areas like lead routing and account assignment.

  • Quota Management & Incentive Compensation Operations: Execute and support the effective deployment and management of quota assignments, including performing crediting & ramp calculations, managing exception tracking, and providing clear policy interpretation. Support the deployment and management of SPIFFs (sales performance incentive funds) and other incentive programs.

Operational & Compliance Excellence

  • System Integrity: Ensure data quality and integrity within the CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and other revenue systems to support accurate reporting and reliable forecasting.

  • SOX Compliance: Ensure processes and controls within the revenue operations function (e.g., in commissions, deal desk, territory management) comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, assisting with documentation and audit support.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate revenue operations processes to increase efficiency and scalability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: At least 4-6 years of experience in a highly analytical, cross-functional role such as revenue operations, sales strategy & planning, management consulting, finance, sales operations, or commissions.

    • Sales strategy & planning experience is a plus.

    • Experience supporting planning, territory carving & management, compensation, or GTM strategy in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Suite. Experience with Salesforce and Tableau is highly preferred.

  • Analytical Prowess: Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to distill ambiguous business problems into clear analytical questions and structured solutions.

  • Communication: Strong executive presence and confidence to present to and influence leadership with clarity, poise, and effective business storytelling.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field is preferred (MBA is a plus).

  • Mindset: Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, collaborative, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment.

  • Expertise & Independence: Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
