Job Description

We’re looking for Payment Operations Analyst to join Procore’s Payment Operations team. In this role, you’ll be given the unique opportunity to support a newly introduced product that will facilitate the movement of funds through our market-leading Financials Solution.

As Payment Operations Analyst works closely with all levels of our organization and is instrumental in helping guide our clients using Procore Payments. Successful candidates will become a subject matter expert of all things payment related within the construction industry and be expected to contribute to holiday-coverage of the platform.

This position reports into the Director of Payment Operations and will be based in our Austin offices. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Engage with newly appointed customers and lead them through the application and onboarding process with our designated banking partner
  • Serve as the main point of contact between customers and banking partner while tracking implementation progress and conducting all functional testing to ensure a seamless and timely onboarding experience.
  • Provide support to customers involving account setup, invoicing, payment processing, receipt and origination of funds, and lien waiver release
  • Work cross functionally with customer success and product and technology to improve process efficiency and automation
  • Maintain and reconcile all payment processing systems
  • Monitor all customer payment activity and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Perform due diligence in-line with established company guidelines
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with third party service providers
  • Participate/support the execution of annual compliance and payment-related audits
  • Populate and publish metrics to demonstrate progress toward organizational goals

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with compliance and regulatory practices in the areas of payment transactions
  • 3+ years of payment processing or payment operations experience
  • Highly proactive with identifying issues and demonstrating resolution skills
  • A clear communicator who can successfully interact with all levels of the organization and clients
  • Team player who works well independently and exhibit strong work ethic and integrity
  • Strong analytical skills, reconciliation capabilities and highly detail oriented
  • Flexible & Comfortable navigating an ambiguous environment while learning quickly and adapting to change
  • Knowledge of the construction industry desirable

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $72,280 - $99,385. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
