Job Description

As a Senior Salesforce Admin/Release Engineer at Procore, you’ll join our Go-to-Market systems team responsible for the architecture, development, administration, and DevOps of the Salesforce.com ecosystem. You’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization to manage the Salesforce DevOps pipeline, drive compliance and ensure effective change management. This is a tremendous opportunity to ensure that updates to the backbone operations of our business are delivered smoothly.

This position reports to the Manager GTM Systems and will be based in our Pune Office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the Salesforce DevOps pipeline by performing Production and sandbox releases using Copado
  • Work with the development team to resolve merge conflicts and deployment errors
  • Ensure change control processes and release readiness criteria have been met prior to release
  • Validate post-release activities; including rollback and root-cause analysis when an issue is encountered
  • Facilitate sandbox refreshes across the Salesforce development environments and ensure integration, QA and staging environments are stable and current
  • Integrate third-party applications and packages
  • Monitor and report on Salesforce system health and usage
  • Keep up to date on Salesforce industry best practices and trends to drive ongoing improvements to Procore’s Salesforce.com release platform

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or Release experience supporting an enterprise-level SFDC instance. Copado certification is a plus.
  • Solid expertise with CI/CD, building deployment pipelines using Copado and version control systems. Advanced understanding of complex Salesforce DevOps and Release strategies (multiple sandboxes and branching, parallel change requests, integration and ecosystem dependencies) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com configuration and administration, including custom fields and objects, workflows, validation rules, formula fields, governor limits, roles, profiles, and permissions
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and a continuous integration/release model
  • Innovative problem solver with top-notch troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, a high degree of motivation, and deadline-driven productivity.
  • Passionate about Salesforce.com; regularly following Salesforce trends and best practices. Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications a strong plus
