Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.

As the Senior Manager, Americas Logistics Operations and Global Trade Compliance, you will be the architect of our Americas logistics and distribution strategy—ensuring our vehicles, parts, batteries, and infrastructure components move seamlessly across Americas regions and borders. This role is central to scaling our operations, optimizing cost and lead times, and supporting a complex forward and reverse logistics ecosystem. You’ll lead a team of logistics professionals and build a high-performing logistics network that’s as agile and efficient as the vehicles we put on the road. You will also be responsible for Trade Compliance globally at Lime, managing execution as well as acting as a trusted advisor to the supply chain with regard to the global tariff landscape.

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates residing in the United States, preferably in California, to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Americas Logistics Strategy: Define and lead the logistics roadmap across North America —supporting product launches, city expansion, and fleet lifecycle management.

  • Multimodal Transportation & Fulfillment: Manage outbound logistics for vehicles, components, batteries, and charging infrastructure across air, ocean, road, and rail.

  • Distribution Operations Management of Lime Spare Parts Hub in Commerce, CA.

  • 3PL & Partner Management: Oversee global logistics providers, 3PL warehouses, and last-mile delivery partners; negotiate contracts and implement robust SLAs.

  • Regional Execution & City Support: Ensure logistics operations enable smooth fleet rollouts and support compliance needs across diverse city regulatory environments.

  • Trade Compliance & Risk: Lead global trade operations, ensuring compliance with international customs regulations, hazardous materials rules (e.g., lithium-ion batteries), and export controls.

  • Data & Performance Management: Build visibility into logistics flows using TMS and analytics tools; track KPIs (e.g., lead time, delivery reliability, cost per km/unit) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Sustainable Reverse Logistics: Develop and scale circular logistics operations, including battery returns and parts recycling.

  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor the logistics team with capabilities across freight, compliance, and distribution, fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration, accountability and speed.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in global logistics or supply chain, with 5 years leadership experience.

  • Proven success managing logistics operations in a fast-paced, global hardware or mobility environment (e.g., transportation tech, consumer electronics, e-commerce, or automotive).

  • Deep expertise in international logistics, 3PL management, and regulatory compliance—including lithium battery shipping and reverse logistics.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in building or scaling logistics networks in emerging or regulated markets.

  • Strong financial and data acumen—comfortable building and presenting business cases and managing multi-million-dollar logistics budgets.

  • Proficiency with supply chain systems (ERP, TMS, WMS) and logistics analytics. NetSuite experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA or certifications (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) a plus.

U.S. Based Position - What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive Health & Wellness: A choice of medical, dental, and vision plans. We also provide company-paid life and disability insurance and company-funded mental health benefits.

  • Financial & Retirement Planning: 401(k) plan with both pre-tax and Roth options, and access to a Health Savings Account (HSA) with a monthly company contribution.

  • Family & Fertility Support: Paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, plus fertility and family-forming benefits.

  • Paid Time Off: Unlimited vacation, paid leaves, and 10 company holidays.

  • Unique Lime Perks: Complimentary use of Lime vehicles in participating cities, a monthly phone allowance, dedicated learning and development days, and access to perks including One Medical, Wellhub, and Headspace.

The base salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by objective factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience.
