Job Duties
Develop software products, and maintain and improve existing software system. Manage design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications and systems software. Establish functional requirements and review solutions. Select and oversee implementation of one or more software development methodologies. Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps to ensure software CI. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improve operations by conducting system analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures. Mentor junior developers. Keep abreast of industry standards and advancements.
May telecommute.
Job Requirements
Position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, and experience in a related occupation (2 years with Master’s or 5 years post-bachelor’s progressive with Bachelor’s).
Must include some experience in each of the following:
1). Working with object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories (RESTful API, SOA architecture, Design Patterns, and Microservices).
2). Relational database design and querying concepts (Entity-Relationship Diagram, normalizations, indexes, and SQL query).
3). Microsoft .NET development using C# and JAVA.
4). Web development using React, HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript.
5). Client and server application development.
6). Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Sprint Review, Grooming, and Retrospective).
7). Unit testing theory, including test cases and unit test coverage.
8). Source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments (Git, Flow, and Jenkins).
