About the Role

As our Regional Facilities Manager you will play a vital role in bringing this mission to life within our spaces. Our facilities teams know every corner of our locations and understand how each detail they manage contributes to creating spaces where people can do their best work, build meaningful connections, and feel truly at home. In this role, your work will have a meaningful impact—helping thousands of members experience great days at work, every day.

You'll oversee approximately 26 locations across the NYC Metro region and support expansions in alignment with company growth.

This is an in-person position that requires daily site visits to various locations within the Los Angeles market, alongside occasional travel to other regions as business needs dictate. You will report to the Regional Senior Facilities Manager and will need to reside within easy commuting distance of our locations around NYC. Day to day, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact customer experience initiatives and providing exceptional support to the organization through work order coordination, database management and stakeholder communication. You'll coordinate the execution of daily tasks and general upkeep of Industrious facilities and provide support for projects outside of business-as-usual with your incredible organization and execution skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full lifecycle of repair and maintenance requests through the ticketing system—including proposal review and approval, vendor dispatch, execution oversight, and invoicing—ensuring both timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead clear, proactive communication with technicians and internal stakeholders across all levels (Member Experience Managers, General Managers, Regional Directors) to align priorities, resolve issues quickly, and build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Deliver business insights by analyzing work order trends, vendor performance, and cost drivers, providing regular reports that inform operational strategy and leadership decision-making.
  • Model urgency and foresight by responding swiftly to emergencies while maintaining a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and recurring issues.
  • Ensure operational excellence by validating vendor submissions, enforcing administrative accuracy, and holding partners accountable to standards of quality, safety, and brand integrity.
  • Conduct site audits and location visits to assess alignment with our brand standards, documenting deficiencies and driving resolution with the appropriate teams.
  • Escalate with judgment, ensuring that issues are resolved at the right level while maintaining ownership and accountability for outcomes.
  • Maintain and evolve knowledge assets (tracking tools, SOPs, checklists, and department files) to drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the function.
  • Support expansion and growth by overseeing facilities onboarding for new locations, setting up preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring smooth integration into existing systems.
  • Contribute to financial stewardship by managing and tracking the facilities operating expense budget, monitoring spend against forecast, ensuring cost control, and providing clear reporting to leadership.
  • Champion a culture of excellence and accountability by elevating standards, coaching colleagues and vendors on processes and customer-centric service deliver, modeling professional maturity, and driving continuous improvement in how the facilities function supports the broader business.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements for a Facilities Manager

  • 3 - 5 Years of work experience in facilities and business operations
  • Foundational understanding of or exposure to facilities.
  • Core understanding of the trades that support maintenance, repairs and overall functionality of a facility to ensure a safe, efficient and well-maintained environment.
  • Reliable self-starter who has the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to connect well with people; warm and approachable
  • Enjoys continuous change and improvement
  • Experience in ticketing management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • Experience in Google Drive/Dropbox file management
  • Experience in Google Sheets/Excel to promote data integrity

Compensation: The annual base compensation range for this role is between $85,000 - $95,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications. You will also be eligible for an annual 10% bonus and participation in our long-term incentive program.

Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package for this role.
