Title: Senior People Strategy Partner

Reports To: Chief People Officer

You bring deep expertise in partnering with business leaders - during times of transformation and scale. You are as comfortable coaching executives through complex organizational decisions as you are designing scalable people strategies that drive long-term growth.

You have a proven track record of building leadership capability, shaping high-performing teams, and navigating sensitive employee relations with empathy and sound judgment. You’re energized by driving culture, organizational effectiveness, and change at scale, and you excel at fostering engagement, inclusion, and performance across all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to mid-level and senior leaders, influencing business and people strategy to enable growth and transformation.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and impact, while championing Hippo’s values across the business.
  • Partner closely with leadership teams to anticipate business needs, proactively address challenges, and co-create strategies that drive organizational success.
  • Lead organizational effectiveness initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and change management to support business scalability.
  • Build and strengthen leadership and manager effectiveness by coaching executives and managers, shaping leadership behaviors, and ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
  • Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to design and implement people programs that advance organizational capability.
  • Guide senior managers on complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistent, fair, and legally compliant practices while minimizing risk.
  • Translate data and insights into strategic recommendations that influence leadership decisions, enhance engagement, and improve retention.
  • Act as a culture champion, driving initiatives that build belonging, morale, and employee experience while measuring and reporting progress.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR business partnering experience, with a strong track record in employee relations, leadership coaching, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated success supporting diverse business areas across the organization during periods of high growth and transformation.
  • Exceptional executive coaching, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and guide senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to lead complex organizational change initiatives while balancing cultural and business priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Unwavering integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to earn trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in insurance/insurtech or high-growth startup environments strongly preferred.
