We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Implementation Specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a customer-first mindset to every aspect of the implementation and support process. In this critical role, you will be responsible for onboarding and supporting insurance organizations and producers as they integrate with Hippo’s platform to sell Hippo policies.
You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure partners are successfully onboarded and continuously supported throughout their engagement. As the key liaison between technical and business teams, you will manage implementation timelines, coordinate the resolution of production issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support smooth integrations.
Your core mission is to ensure production readiness, deliver a seamless onboarding experience, and drive adoption of Hippo applications—empowering partners to effectively and confidently sell Hippo policies.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute production implementations, including system updates, feature rollouts, and new platform launches
- Triage post-deployment issues, assess business impact, and collaborate with teams to drive resolution
- Prepare and execute implementation and cutover plans, including risk assessments, rollback strategies, and stakeholder communications
- Provide production support during go-live and stabilization periods, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Maintain documentation including implementation runbooks, process flows, and change records
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on deployment processes, business workflows, and system interactions
- Manage vendor and third-party system configurations or data integrations required during implementation cycles
- Report findings and implementation outcomes to stakeholders and obtain approvals for key decisions
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in production implementation, deployment support, or IT systems coordination
- Experience onboarding external partners in the insurance or fintech industry
- Familiarity with Salesforce environments and reporting
- Ability to interpret REST APIs including endpoints, headers, and responses
- Experience with tools like Postman and BigQuery
- Strong understanding of change management and release coordination best practices
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting production environments within the P&C insurance industry or related enterprise systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, especially under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience onboarding external partners in the insurance or fintech industry
