The Role
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and scale our product engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution, product collaboration, and people leadership. You’ll work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to ship impactful features while building a high-performing, mission-driven engineering culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll spend time managing and growing engineers, but also stay close to technical discussions and delivery.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Grow the Team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop engineers across levels. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture across a distributed team
Drive Product Delivery: You are a productivity enthusiast who knows how to make hard work feel rewarding and enjoyable for the team. Support product and design leads to define roadmaps, scope initiatives, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
Maintain Technical Excellence: Guide technical design reviews, manage trade-offs between speed and scalability, and ensure best practices in testing, reliability, and security.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in a management or tech lead role. Experience in startups or fast-paced environments preferred.
Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow engineers while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration. A kind yet confident leader that makes tough or unpopular decisions when they’re the right call for the team.
Technical Depth: Strong background in our tech stack that optimizes your ability to be hands-on, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
Product Mindset: Comfortable working closely with product managers and designers and founders, with a bias toward shipping customer value.
In the First Two Months
You’ll join as both an engineer and tech lead, contributing directly as an IC. This will give you deep insight into our technology, processes, engineering culture, and developer experience.
Starting in the third month, you’ll transition fully into the Engineering Leader role.
