Blend's Infrastructure team acts as a company within a company; empowering developers to ship their code faster and more securely. The work the team does is incredibly important and multiplies productivity across the entire organization.
How you’ll contribute:
- Operate, maintain and enhance our AWS Infrastructure.
- Write Infrastructure-as-Code for provisioning and operating infrastructure in reliable and repeatable fashion.
- Build DevOps tooling and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Provide on-going maintenance and support of internal tools, improve system health and reliability.
- Together with your engineering team, you will participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Encourage great habits to enhance team practices by participating in code reviews and offering peer mentorship / support.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of Infrastructure / DevOps / SRE experience.
- Experience with a major Cloud provider (AWS preferred).
- Shown ability with configuration management and service orchestration tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker (EKS preferred).
- Experience administering Linux systems.
- Proficient in one or more major programming languages, such as Go or TypeScript / Node.js.
- Knowledge of modern database technologies and infrastructure, such as MongoDB or PostgresSQL.
For full time hires, the hiring base pay range for this position is between $122,000 and $144,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.
Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
