Blank Street Coffee is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of US Marketing to lead our brand, product, and digital marketing efforts in the US. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, with a deep understanding of consumer psychology, retail environments, and digital marketing tactics. This role will be instrumental in shaping and communicating our brand identity and enhancing our presence across all channels. This is an in-person role and reports to the US Managing Director.

What You’ll Own:

  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team.
  • Create a consistent and recognizable brand identity across all channels and touch points in the US
  • Design and manage the annual marketing calendar, marketing budget, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for consumer and retail experiences.
  • Foster a positive team culture characterized by energy, hard work, honesty, and low ego.
  • Launch multiple product-focused seasonal marketing campaigns annually, leveraging all marketing channels to effectively drive revenue in our stores.
  • Develop and implement in-store marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Analyze customer behavior and preferences in retail environments.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, paid ads, and influencer partnerships.
  • Utilize marketing analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand and product marketing, particularly in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail marketing and consumer behavior.
  • Experience with digital marketing and growth marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive marketing initiatives in a retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management abilities.
  • Passion for creating meaningful connections and enriching daily rituals for consumers.

Benefits:

  • $120,000 - $170,000 annual base salary
    • Blank Street, in good faith, believes that the posted salary range is accurate for this role in New York City at the time of posting. Our salaries are rooted in the desire to pay competitively relative to our organization size and industry, reflecting just one part of the total compensation package. Additional components include equity, healthcare benefits, paid time off and various work perks (commuter benefits, free coffee). Details will be discussed during the interview process. Blank Street may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future.
