Aescape is actively recruiting a seasoned Director of Product Marketing with a minimum of 10 years of experience and a successful track record in launching new, tech-forward products. This is a pivotal role as we gear up for the highly-anticipated 2024 launch of a groundbreaking product, necessitating the evolution of our product marketing strategy and execution.

Position is in New York with 3-5 days in office. Leadership role reporting to VP, Marketing.

We are in a period of rapid growth, launching our category-transforming product throughout 2024 with global leaders in hospitality, wellness, sports and fitness.

What You’ll Do

As Director, Product Marketing, you will play a leadership role in driving go-to-market (GTM) strategies and overall growth, spearheading a net-new product launch for our 0-to-1 company. In addition to your proven product marketing expertise, you will be entrusted with managing critical efforts, from enhancing the Aescape product to creating engaging content that includes compelling product collateral, how-to guides, and impactful storytelling to captivate our global customer base.

This is a highly strategic position with opportunity and expectations to turn strategy into compelling public-facing executions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Mastery: Craft and own comprehensive product marketing strategies, forging a clear roadmap for new launches and sustained departmental growth. Define and execute impactful go-to-market (GTM) strategies, spearheading the development of sales and marketing materials for high-impact feature releases that elevate product adoption and drive revenue.

  • Strategic Positioning: Innovate and execute differentiated product positioning and compelling narratives and executions that set Aescape apart, fostering growth and establishing unparalleled market leadership.

  • Product Storytelling: Elevate storytelling and deliver exceptional copywriting for Aescape's revolutionary product across partner and customer touchpoints. Utilize over a decade of expertise to seamlessly manage end-to-end asset delivery, ensuring impactful and innovative outcomes.

  • Introducing Product Innovation: Drive the development of marketing materials and orchestrate high-impact feature releases that spur adoption and revenue. Establish a compelling approach specifically tailored for introducing new product enhancements, ensuring continuous innovation and customer engagement.

  • Audience Insights: Create and implement channels to capture feedback from core B2B and B2C audiences in collaboration with Product Research. Synthesize insights to refine product development, marketing, and sales. Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points, paving the way for innovative product solutions. Develop and run ongoing customer listening channels to collect and synthesize insights to improve the product, marketing and sales.

  • B2B Growth Catalyst: Drive B2B business growth through the creation of impactful collateral, including compelling case studies and diverse video formats. Tailor communication efforts to resonate with and engage various partners and audiences, strategically supporting marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Senior Leadership Opportunity: Initiate and develop our product marketing department, initially as a solo leader. Grow the team, recruiting and nurturing talent to establish yourself as a strategic senior leader. Drive discipline growth by assembling, training, and guiding a high-performing team under your leadership.

  • Team Synergy: Operate as the essential "glue" bridging product, marketing, sales, and various departments to spark robust collaboration. Propel overall company success increased visibility, knowledge sharing ,and collaboration.

  • Long Term Growth Initiatives: You will see around corners to anticipate and address potential obstacles, while employing a data-led approach to track KPIs and ensure they are delivering against stated company objectives and priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Product Marketing role, with a focus on bringing new products to market.

  • Relevant experience to Aescape: early-stage startup, hardware, software, B2B2C product marketing competency, and/or new-to-market product launches.

  • Proven experience in hardware product marketing is highly desirable.

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.

  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated success in identifying and pursuing opportunities.

  • A proactive and self-motivated individual, you excel in autonomously driving tasks forward and making effective decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Rather than waiting for direction, you set your own goals and devise strategies to accomplish them efficiently, collaborating effectively with colleagues along the way.

  • Strong creative inclinations with experience in managing creative agencies and productions.
