See open jobs at Clutter.See open jobs similar to "Maintenance Mechanic" Fifth Wall.Maintenance Mechanic Perform system troubleshooting, maintenance and component removal, repair and installation of large industrial shred machines, bailers for paper and cardboard, crushers, conveyors, dust suppression/collection systems, etc. Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance such as changing filters in the dust collection systems, checking screens, seals for leakage, oil levels and lubrication systems. Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed. Responsible for maintaining work orders and performing prevent maintenance in work area inspections and updating the data into a computer database. Training will be provided.

PAY: $28 to $30 depending upon experience per hour (Paid biweekly)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (Occasional weekends)
HOURS : 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Shift will require iOT as needed expect to work 1 saturday in the month)
LOCATION: 11701 Missouri Bottom Road Hazelwood, MO 63042
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to the problem area.
Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
Removes, repairs, or replaces broken parts using hand or power tools.
Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as drill press, sander, or grinder, to make or repair parts.
Performs preventive maintenance program for equipment.
Diagnoses and replaces faulty, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
Welding experience , but not required
Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed mechanic and experience repairing industrial size machinery or experienced equivalency preferred.
High school education or equivalency preferred.
Ability to achieve and maintain NAID security credentials and forklift certification. If not certified we will train.
Ability to use the computer to update logs and document data.
Ability to read, understand and communicate safety and production instructions.
Ability to read and write English legibly and keep detailed records of work performed.
Ability to work independently, follow detailed procedures, and perform with limited supervision.
Ability to regularly bend, twist, and lift and carry up to 75 lbs., stand and walk up to 8 hours a day.
